FAQ

2Do we accept walk-in patients?
Walk-in clients are welcome.
3Can you schedule an appointment online?
Yes, follow the prompts on our website to request an appointment. We will contact you to schedule your session.
4Will taking medication form part of therapy?
Treatment plans differ, so not all patients will be on prescribed medication. Psychiatric evaluation is first done to assess emotional and psychological trauma. At the same time, biological and social factors are considered. Treatment is first discussed with the patient, and at the same time, they may raise questions or concerns regarding this.
5Can anxiety be life-threatening?
Panic attacks are a common side effect of severe anxiety. While these attacks feel like your heart is about to burst, an episode will not cause death. However, untreated anxiety can impact your life and affect your health. Therefore, regular panic attacks require immediate attention with the help of a psychologist and physician.
6What causes a panic attack?
Although it largely depends on your personal experience, panic attacks are often triggered by:
- Loss of a friend or relative
- Experiencing a traumatic event
- Neurological changes
